Ricky Garcia

Ricky Garcia received his Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Theatre – Acting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He was trained in voice and acting by Linda Bisesti who is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher trained by internationally renowned voice teacher Kristin Linklater. He was also trained in classical Shakespeare by Peter Wittrock, father of actor Finn Wittrock, and by critically acclaimed actor and director Lisa Wolpe. His education also includes Commedia dell’Arte, Meisner technique, Chekhov, Uta Hagen, and Stanislavsky’s System to Uta Hagen’s techniques. During his last few years at Cal Poly Pomona, Ricky was hand-picked to stage manage productions at Cal Poly Pomona due to his organization skills and great working relationships with his peers. Ricky was the resident Stage Manager & Box Office Manager of the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, in residence at Cal Poly Pomona for almost a decade. Stage management positions include Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles, Theatre of Doors in Los Angeles and Southern California Shakespeare Festival. Ricky has also directed a number of student written One Acts, The Winged Man by Jose Rivera, The Patient by
